- Dr. Ashok Valabhoju received the CIGRE Thesis Award 2022 from CIGRE Paris France for his Doctoral research work under the guidance of Dr. Anamika Yadav, Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engg. NIT Raipur. The International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE) is a global nonprofit organization in the field of high voltage electricity. It was founded in Paris, France in 1921.

- Mr. Bhupendra Kumar got the POSOCO Power System Award (PPSA-2019) for his Doctoral research work entitled “Protection of Transmission Lines in Presence of FACTS Devices” under the guidance of Dr. Anamika Yadav, Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engg. POSOCO Power System Awards (PPSA) has been constituted by POSOCO in partnership with the Foundation for Innovation & Technology Transfer (FITT), IIT Delhi to encourage excellence and innovative research in the area of power systems and its related fields. He will receive an award money of Rs. 1.00 Lakh, along with a certificate.

- Miss Aleena Swetapadma got the POSOCO Power System Award (PPSA-2017) for her Doctoral research work entitled “Data mining, Artificial intelligence techniques and finite state automata application in performance enhancement of transmission line protection schemes” under the guidance of Dr. Anamika Yadav, Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engg. She received an award money of Rs. 60,000.00, along with a certificate.
- Ms. Thara Jose (M.Tech 2017 Batch) has received POSOCO Power System Award (PPSA-2018) for her Master’s research work entitled “ Third-Zone Protection Scheme During System Stressed Events ” under the guidance of Dr. Monalisa Biswal, faculty in the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Raipur.

- Mr. Atul Kumar Soni (M.Tech. 2017 Batch) has received POSOCO Power System Award (PPSA-2018) for her Master’s research work entitled “An Intelligent Protection Scheme for Combined Underground Cable and Overhead Transmission Line System” under the guidance of Dr. Anamika Yadav, faculty in the Department of Electrical Engg, National Institute of Technology, Raipur.

- Mr. Shashi Kant Verma (Ph D Scholar) & Dr. S. L. Sinha (Professor), Mechanical Engineering Department have received "Best Presentation Award" for their research contribution on "Numerical Prediction of Spacer effect on Turbulent Mixing Phenomena in Sub Channels of Nuclear Rod Bundle in Advanced Heavy Water Reactor" in 19th International Conference on Nuclear Reactor Theory and Numerical Analysis (ICNRTNA 2017) held on October 23-24, 2017 in Bali Indonesia.

- Mr.Shashi Kant Verma, Ph. D. Scholar ( Under the guidance Dr. Shobha Lata Sinha, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering Department, NIT Raipur presented and received “Young Scientist Award” for Research Paper entitled “ Numerical Prediction of Flow Pattern in 54 Rod Bundle of an Advanced Heavy Water Reactor” in the discipline of Mechanical, Mechatronics & Production Engineering during the 15th Chhattisgarh Young Scientists Congress (CYSC-2017) organized by Chhattisgarh Council of Science & Technology, Raipur and Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhiali, C.G. on Feb 28-March 1, 2017.
- Dr. Anamika Yadav, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, have been awarded with the “IEI Young Engineers Award 2015-2016” in Electrical Engineering discipline. The award was presented at the Inaugural Session of the 31st National Convention of Electrical Engineers held at Bhopal on October 17, 2015.
