The Fluid Mechanics & Hydraulics Lab is located on the ground floor of the Department of Civil Engineering. The lab provides calibration facilities for pipes, spillways, pumps, and turbines. The major equipment available in the lab includes a hydraulic flume, turbines, and a wind tunnel. The lab is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in studying the behavior of fluids and hydraulic systems. Students can learn how to measure the properties of fluids, design hydraulic systems, and study the performance of hydraulic components such as pumps and turbines. With these facilities, students can gain practical knowledge and skills to prepare them for careers in the civil engineering industry.
