Graduated from Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University in the year 1999. Joined RCET in the same year as Lecturer and served till 2001. Served as Lecturer in the Dept. of Mech. Engg., MPCCET from 2001 to 2003. Got admitted to ME course with specialization in Machine Design at Jadavpur University in the year 2003. After completing ME, pursued PhD at Faculty. of Mech. Engg. Jadavpur University from 2005 to 2009 in the field of computational mechanics. In the meantime also served as visiting faculty at Power Engineering Department at Jadavpur University. Was awarded institute PhD fellowship from Jadavpur University in the year 2006 followed by Senior Research Fellowship from CSIR, India in the year 2007.

Joined NIT Raipur in the year 2009 as Assistant Professor, Mechanical. Received PhD in the year 2011.

Presently has 20 publications in peer reviewed journals and conferences. Has rendered services as Reviewer in reputed international journals.  Has guided over 10 MTech thesis and presently supervising 05 PhD scholars. Area of interest include Computational Mechanics, Biomechanics, Fluid-Structure interaction and Finite element method.
