    You are cordially invited to establish memorial scholarships and thus perpetuate the memory of a loved one and further the cause of education.
    Benefits
    1. All the donations made to NIT Raipur are 100% deductible from total taxable income u/s 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961.
    2. Convenience of the donors is taken care of at each step with multiple payment options – provision for both online donations and demand drafts.
    3. Status of the donation is informed to the donors regularly through email each year to keep them updated.
    4. Name of the donor will be displayed on the Institute website.

    1 Shri G.C. Sugandhi and Smt. Lakshami Devi Sugandhi Memorial Award 2011 Dr. K. K. Sugandhi, the Ex-Director of NIT Raipur has constituted cash awards in loving memory of his parents. According to the conditions stipulated for the award the following students are to be given the prizes –

    2 Prof. Dinesh Kumar Tripathi Memorial Award 2014 Alumni of Mechanical Engg. bestows cash prizes under different categories to U.G. students of Mechanical branch.
    3 Late Mrs. Sunetra Tamaskarar Memorial Award 2019 Prof. D.G. Tamaskar, Retd. Professor of G.E.C. Raipur has constituted this award in loving memory of his beloved wife. According to the conditions stipulated for the award, Gold Medal is awarded for securing the highest number of marks in Geotechnical Engg.II (Department of Civil Engg)
    4 Late Mr. R.L. Atulkar and Late Mrs. Seeta Atulkar Memorial Award. 2021 Dr. Mithilesh Atulkar, Associate Professor of the MCA Department NIT Raipur has constituted this award in loving memory of his parents. According to the conditions stipulated for the award, Gold Medal is awarded for to Overall Second Topper in B.Tech. programme.
    5 Late Mr. Mahesh Kumar Pande Memorial Award 2021 Dr. Mrs. Asha Lata Pande, Retd. Prof. of Chemical Engg Department, NIT Raipur has constituted this award in the profound memory of her husband Late Mr. Mahesh Kumar Pande. According to the conditions stipulated for the award, student of final year Chemical Engineering (U.G) securing First Position (Overall) is awarded a Gold Medal.
    6 Dr. A.S. Zadgaonkar Award 2022 Dr. Subhrata Gupta and Dr. Mithilesh Atulkar, faculties of NIT Raipur has constituted this award in the profound memory of their mentor/Guide Late Dr. A.S. Zadgaonkar. According to the conditions stipulated for this award, Gold Medal is awarded to the student securing 3rd position in B.Tech. Electrical Engg.


    Scholarships

    1 Dr. K. K. Sugandhi Scholarship 2011 Prof. K. K. Sugandhi, the Ex-Director of NIT Raipur has constituted this scholarship. One scholarship of the value Rs. 1100/- per month for ten monthly installments, awarded to the student securing the highest CPI (Cumulative Performance Indicator) and having an annual family income less than Rs.2.5 Lacs, studying in B.Tech. 2nd year.
    2 Sh. Manghandas & Smt. Sundari Devi Hablani Memorial Scholarship 2022 Mr. Hari Hablani, an alumnus of NIT Raipur has constituted this award in loving memory of his parents. Forty scholarships (ten from each year of B.Tech.) of the value Rs. 15,600/- (for 1st year) and Rs. 9,000/- (for 2nd, 3rd & 4th years) one-time grant for each shortlisted student whose family's annual income is less than 1 Lac.
    3 Shraman Foundation Scholarship 2022 NIT Raipur has partnered with the Shraman Foundation, a non-profit organization, to offer scholarships to financially disadvantaged undergraduate students. Selected students receive a one-time grant ranging from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000, determined by the Shraman Foundation's selection process.
    4 Dr. M L Kathuriya & Smt. Pramila Devi Kathuriya Memorial Scholarship 2023 The Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship is established by the daughters and families of Dr. M. L. Kathuriya and Smt. Pramila Devi Kathuriya, aids two deserving female B.Tech. 2nd-year (Mechanical Engg.) students seeking financial assistance and having an annual family income of under 5 Lacs. Each shortlisted recipient is awarded a one-time grant of Rs. 25,000 to support their education.
